Spring came and went and summer has arrived. The seasons are passing so quickly through quarantine.

I miss the smell of flowers in the hot, muggy Argentinian weather.

There are days in lockdown where I don't see the end of all this.

My partner and I live in different cities, but since lockdown started we have lived together. Our connection seems to deepen as time passes, and day by day we grow with one another a little bit more. These changes within our relationship through quarantine seem to strengthen us rather than distance us.

My mother called me yesterday from her little village in South America and told me she felt lonely, and I told her that I was feeling far from myself in London. I think many of us are feeling a distress that is out of our control while in isolation. However, I find peace when looking up at these delicate spring flowers on my walks. They are blossoming with abundance and sometimes, in only a few days, they disappear. Blown away by the wind. These weeks in quarantine have given me the space to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the transient flowers that come and go when typically, I seem to never have enough time to stop in a rushing city.
